2018 is fast becoming the year of sole-swapped creps. You only need to consider some of this year’s most anticipated releases from Vapormax to see that most of those are Frankenstein-like creations. Taking the ultra innovative Air Unit from the Vapormax, transplant that technology underneath the lightweight and soft upper of the Air Max Plus.

 

This theme works surprisingly well, especially in the tonal black colourway scheme which features throughout. The stealthy upper is a homage to the old school but modern upgrades bring added comfort and protection from the elements. That soft nylon material keeps the foot locked in place as does the swirling lace cage.

 

Fused underfoot is that ground-breaking Air Unit which delivers cushioning likened to ‘walking on clouds’.
